The game trail consists of 19 different posts.
The activities require luck, skill and knowledge.
Players can play for points (score sheet provided) or just for fun.
You can play as many games as you wish, in whichever sequence you choose.
The game trail has been designed for young and old, big and small, for families, for groups.
The game trail is a project of the Dorfgemeinschaft Engelberg and supported by the Kommission zur Attraktivierung des Dorfzentrums (=Commission for Town Center Beautification). Local shops, businesses and hotels have been responsible for creating and equipping the various activity posts along the trail, which winds through the heart of Engelberg.
It takes approximately 2-2 1/5 hours if players complete the whole course of games.
Daily 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 pm (Last time for borrowing equipment: 4:00 p.m.)
The decision was made to offer this trail of games for free. Of course, it would be greatly appreciated if anyone wishing to donate money towards the project would do so! When you’ve finished playing, there is a small honor box for receiving donations. Donations will be
put towards offsetting the costs of up-keep, improvement, replacement, and repairs, as well as toward the cost of buying prizes for an annual drawing.
Each group of players receives a carrying sack containing the equipment and materials needed for playing. (ex. maps, explanatory and descriptive materials, scoresheets, etc.) There is a returnable deposit of 50.—CHF or ID for this pack. The deposit will be returned when the bag is returned.
